Spring RTS Engine

Who has it ??

So far im enjoying it. Only played online but i heard the campaign is really good.

if you like real time tactics its very good from what ive seen

positioning etc matters

also it has hero units if thats your thing which varies it alot :p

Always fun to play Lictor alpha launching jump attacks then flesh hooking then jumping out

also looks very nice and is nothing like dawn of war 1

is it better than spring? i have my dobuts .. was playin dow1.

Its orders of magnitude better than DoW1

well warhammer 40k battles are in general small skirmishes so it feels more like that :p

dont get me wrong i like 40k but
no zoom out = no overlook = epic fail for a rtsgame

u know what a minimap is ??

and most rts's dont have full zoom out

at max zoom u see more than enough of the battlefield

this is true but the full zoom out is amazing. its like sex w/out conny, once you hit it you never want to go back. you bang your head on the glass ceiling o zoom

yeh im waiting for bug to be fixed before i played ranked games

The bug has been fixed already but it takes 2 weeks verification for Games for windows live to patch online servers gg... epic fail microsoft patch been ready for a week so now its just a waiting game.


you can actually avoid the bug aslong as u dont spam click reinforce your units and do it one at a time (which hardly any1 does as every1 frantically kicks resupply button) because it allows you to click to add 1 more unit than allowed and it cancels it cos of the squad cap but still adds it to supply limit t.t if u click one at a time and dont overclick it dusnt happen,

So this is why no one reinforced their teams to full in the pro level replays I've seen during the beta
