Spring RTS Engine

Would be great if it was possible to see the LOS of an entire team when your a spectator instead of just seeing the LOS of one player at a time.

Uh, that's the default behavior. I think you're confused, somehow.

and no I do not want the default behavior changed.

I want 'l' to show the current player. Maybe a new key combo for selected player +allies?

Why wouldn't you want the team los to be shown by default when your spectating? Oo

well if I am checking los on units, or radar etc overlapping ones might give me issues. Players may also find it an issue if they are watching a replay for something that they need to see just where the los line falls.

Then wouldn't they want it to show the LOS they had in the game itself, that of the entire ally team?

I thought ingame 'l' just shows your los?

Basic said it showed the whole team. I don't have any specific memories on the subject.

Uh pressing 'l' does show the los of the entire team you're spectating.

When I'm speccing a team with 'L' it shows the entire teams los. Maybe the confusion is caused by people using gui_los_colors.lua to change the los colours.

There isn't even a thing like per-team LOS in the engine, only per allyteam (often referred to as team..)

I guess I play too many free for alls.
