Spring RTS Engine

Whenever I try to start a battle I get this message




Also, somebody, when trying to join my battle said they got a socket error and im guessing it was the same as this.

I don't have a firewall or anything to interfere with it.

Any help is very much appreciated.

A: Windows XP has a built in firewall thats turned on by default, are you sure ti isnt that?

B: Do you get your itnernet through a router or network?

oh, my internet goes through a router. I have the windows firewall disabled and don't have sp2. what do i do next?

BTW, the FAQ doesn't help if i don't have a firewall.

You have to setup port forwarding. See this website for information: http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm
You need to open both 4897 and 8452. Good luck.
