Lobby Delay/Freezing

Using TAS Client and my lobby freezes for about 30 seconds every time i try to join a battle room, then once i have joined a get a large message spam and im in. Not only this but when everyone has readied up and the game starts my lobby is delayed 30-60 seconds before actually trying to load the game so i end up getting the shittiest position every game, this used to happen everytime but since the new updates, it sometimes works normally. Its a pretty annoying problem and I haven't a clue why it actually happens.

do you have a ton of maps/mods?

Happened to me also some time ago, don't know what the problem is.

I guessed back then it was somehow related to the size/contents of maps/mods. (I had a bad/incomplete map and it gave errors)

You could try to 'clean' all the maps/mods dir (except the ones you play of course :-) ) and check if this happens.....

The other option is to use a debugger if you know how :P .

Yeah i pretty much have every map/mod ive downloaded since 2005... plus i know i have alot of older versions of mods so that probably doesnt help either. Anyway thanks for the help.

P.S Also just got this wierd C++ runtime error or something which spammed me about 20 times :P

I'd be really interested how current SpringLobby fares with this huge amount of content. Would you mind trying it out even if you don't plan to use it regularly?
