feature request: AD - strafe left/right, mouse turns. i can't use this for shit, too much quake, and those s44 battles look to cool from fpp perspective to pass up.

hi,

if u go forward, then jump and then "teleport" and u land u have to press forward again to move on, also its possible to go outside of the map and could u disable the mouse pointer, while u r in the modus? but its a nice lua to play with :)

edit: strange behaviour when lock camera is on

bug: when u jump and turn off gravity, then u stay in that position and couldnt "walk", turning on gravity solves the problem

request: could u disable the mouse trigger, so u could see just the green circle?

edit:
-would be fun, if the specs could see the other specs while walking ;)
-would be nice to change the highness of the unit with mouse wheel

edit2: recognized u wanted that u couldnt walk while there is no gravity

haven't even tried this and I want features... like being able to switch unit types (aka switch from walking/running unit to flying unit or from floating unit to bottom of the sea unit) and being able to draw map doodles as you are roaming... and an actual ghost representative unit showing up for you and other spectators to see.

When you turn off gravity, nothing pulls you to the ground, so walking is HARD :P It's meant for use with the teleporting/flying

Not sure I understand what you mean with the mouse trigger, explain a bit more.

Specs seeing eachother already was on my todo list, not sure how to represent specs though.

Good idea with the mousewheel, will try to implement that.

Already done, hold Q to fly, otherwise you walk. I'll add some form of floating over water later on.
SinbadEV wrote:draw map doodles as you are roaming
Thought about that, decided it would be too annoying for regular specs :P

The ability for specs to fight each other (without the actual players knowing - they see no spec units or weapon effects and their units take no damage or send damage alert messages) would be AWESOME

would be awesome, coz the controll-mechanism of this lua is better than the native fps-mode

It wouldn't be synced so someone could easily cheat it but as a silly distraction it would be neat

bug: i am not actually in a unit, and other specs cannot see that I am actually a shape-shifting experimental gingerbread mech. also where are my weapons?

Could you change the keys that activate it, It's messing with my keybinds :<
Maybe Ctrl P or something away from my play keys. It's annoying when it's accidentally activated whilst playing. It shouldn't even be enabled whilst playing tbh, nobody will use it.

I like this widget alot, but for some reason my view always seems to drift downwards.

excellent widget sir, i use it often when i spec.

might not be hard to add : i've noticed there's a tolerance for heights as you move forward in walking mode (ie a hill will block you or slow your movements) but you can strafe up the same hill without any resistance...

also if landing on a slope could add to your momentum, that might also be lulzy.

beyond that; it would be great if specrun had an effect similar to ally cursors so that you could see other specrunners or possibly even block their movement... (DsDrace? kthxbai)

anyways great work sir!
