Visgoth: Zeus replacement

I made a concept for this a while ago, spurred by annoyance of having the zeus look different from all the other units in the glaive -> crabe chain
Today, I finally got around to modelling it. I used spherewarrior as a base. What do you think?
Status: Revision 1 - partially uvmapped

the weapon flips over soldier. The bot handles it bazooka-style

With an old friend.
I really want to stick a C&C3 style railgun on this. whaddya think?

model on a sort of cradle on the shoulder. Make it part of the torso.

@pxtl: i could make the hands equal shaped/sized. I just liked it this way, because you don't get any "whats that useless appendage doing there?" comments

You could probably make it fit, but as an aside, could you do maybe one WiP thread only like cremuss/swiw/etc?

Need to make that left hand sectional with a mitten so you can animate him grabbing onto the bazooka and his hand wrapping around it, instead of that big blobby hand clipping into the barrel which is how I picture it with how that hand is atm.

I'd really like to do that, but there are 3 problems with that:
1: Then I can't use Spherewarrior's texture.
2: ATM the gun isn't long enough for it to properly grip it without holding the barrel, and if I make it longer, it'd look like a pikeman or something.
3: I'm too lazy/inexperienced to model a proper robo-mitten

Okay then. I ask this:
could a moderator please merge all my threads into one thread, in chronological order (leaving, if possible, a couple reserved posts on the front page for me to post stuff)?
or should i just start posting them in one thread now?

or should i make one new thread, post all my old and new stuff there, and get the mods to lock all other threads?

Merging them all would result in posts individually sorted chronologically...I suggest you start a new single thread and ask one of us to lock the current ones.
