Spring RTS Engine

I just discovered Spring and really like it Thanks to the developers!

I'm sure some know the game "Z", released in 1996. Unique "sector based" gameplay and 85%+ in all game magazines at that time.

I wonder if a mod will pick this type of gameplay up. Would IMHO be awesome for online play, with rather short but really intense battles

Kernel Panic is _somewhat_ similar, might want to try it out.

Z was such a win game.

beyond even the really fun gameplay, i loved how much character the robots were given.

Perhaps some day when I find time and spring is really stable (no offense here, I like Spring I mean just a bit of polish *gg) I'll write a Z mod for Spring.

Spring has as much polish as content developers wish to apply :p

most everything is customisable and it runs farely smoothly sure there are areas it can improved but its good enough to develop content on and you can achieve a good product if you work at it

Besides the campaigns, that's it. But like Zorg said, if you want it done well - do it yourself, or it won't happen at all
