Um, no offense, but none of my browsers were able to open your XML and render it properly. Totally useless to me, basically. You need to use a print-to-PDF or something else that's universally translated and cross-platform, if you're serious about writing a play-guide.

My word 2007 opened it fine. But pdf is probably the better format to use for this kind of thing.

I suppose openoffice could probably open it...and then crash and explode and wipe half your harddrive and impregnate your sister.

Seems fine here in OO.org, though I do wonder if all the urls are supposed to be like this.
Oh sure ninja me while I format my post.

I like!
Its got a few things I really dont agree with, but this is not a gameplay discussion and this should work fine for newbies.

aye, you need to know the rules so you know how to break them.

You have a few spelling errors and some of the terms you use are wrong. If you like, i'll take a look at them later and correct your mistakes, or equally, come online and you can hear what i have to say on teamspeak.
Also, i'll read your strat give you a game and show you some errors you've made in the game.

Yeah, sorry about that format issue. The reason I did that was because the conversions didn't look so pretty. I updated my post with the conversion thesleepless posted. I cleaned it up a bit more. Well, it was a first draft and thought I'd just throw what I had out there so you all could tare into it. My only resquest is that you send me any edited versions so I can update my post. All of your input would be great. I tried to catch all the spelling errors but oh well. And yes I used spell check.

thud/hammer are indeed the fail
that the guide pretty much advises against the use of t1 and t2 kbots suggests alot about how shite kbots are atm

Its a good start but you have to rearrange it.
Its very hard to read in its current format.
Newbies will not like walls of unending text.
If your gonna continue work on it id suggest:
build trees with commentaries.
just pictures of everything you are talking about.
grouping pictures of a lab and the units that are usefull in it together with commentaries near the pics.
After you go through the basics and finish wiht the build tree of all labs and their units you can than devide the gameplay into several parts on several maps with sketches.
So you can take 3 minimaps and divide the gameplay on them into 3 parts.
Beginning,middle of game,and end game.
3 examples of how to roughly play 3 maps while constantly showing pics of the units your speaking of will do much more than nay textual explanation.
It's just my personal conclusions after bumping in and reading some textual guides and explanation of how to play well.

there was a ba strategy guide thread in which many small nuances were mentioned...its pretty much still relevant since nothing has been fixed.
