Got it working sort of, followed the instructions helpfully provided and commented out that bit of code. Dunno why rapid breaks the files up into random chunks like that, seems a bit like wasted effort, but oh well. The file didn't contain the malfunctioning widgets other than the spawn init thing, guess one needs to either place blank copies or edit the base U36 archive, but can't be arsed.

Yeah. Some widgets are still haywire as they're only present in the base file, but at least the player's commander spawns now.Rumpelstiltskin wrote:So what? It works now?

wrong widgets can be places in ./LuaUI/Widgets/ of game/mod file or in ./LuaUI/Widgets/ of your spring folder.
