Where can I get AIs and AI config files?

Hi! I'm trying to play Balanced Annihilation against the computer, but I can't... KAI crashes the whole game, KAIK after building a few buildings just stops doing anything at all, and AAI complains about no config file. What can I do with this situation? I thought about getting some new AI or some config file for AAI, but when I looked around a few sites with Spring downloads I couldn't find anything...
