I gotta say, comnaps are a stupid gameplay feature and should have been gutted out back in the AA days... but if you've got it, use it. And Regret is a farking ninja with those.

comnaps are a result of eliminating AA shooting ground thus creating the problem of comnaps and combombs which are relativly very easy to do now.
This problem has never been dealt with but even if it is it will still be artificial.
And just adding all kind of artificial elements into a game makes it suck.
XTA is superior in that respect but they cant recreate OTA awsome AA/AL ground balance because in XTA they auto shoot radar which makes it completely different.

In intense battles building a few AA might lose you the game.

you do realise that a defender costs less than a flash?
and building NO AA when the opposing team has air gives you a guaranteed lose. playing is all about balancing your spending (wait omg! a player has to balance their forces, no wai! that should all be done modside!)

With a good comnapper, the Atlas is the first thing you see. Plus, I've seen one clever team-up strat - one player rushes in a suicide squad of flashes to pick off the defenders, and then the other player brings in the atlas. Obviously, if you keep the comm moving you're fine, but if they can pull it off fast enough that you don't see it coming, the comm is toast.

lol i remember distracting the enemy with one useless attack at the other side of his base, and then comnapping his com =D it worked pretty well.

Also, replays are not compatible from version to version of the engine. Makes watching old ones a pain.
