OMG!!! No OTA reps for AGES!!! omg...what the hell am i gonna do on sunday! :-O HELP!!!! i REALLY want a replay to review...the last review i did was like months ago!

How about doing something else construktive? Like adding some strategys to the GUIDE
or just start making a map?

Theres lots of stuff to do. And btw soon the new version will be out, and all old replays will be worthless. WORTHLESS!

pah u can always install a old version again or in a different drive and relive the glory days, or some genius could work out a multiversion (as seen on gamereplays.org under BFME)

I don't play Starcraft anymore. Spring is so huge comparatively speaking. Although its insane how popular starcraft has become (ie: gosugamers.net)

wow that site scares me, i play 2-4 hours of spring a day and i know that is way too much...getting payed for playing! XD

come on man! this SC game has STILL got ppl playing it 10+ hours a DAY!!! people even get payed for it, the strategy and micro involved are obscene. those koreans...you've got to respect a game like that EVEN if you don't play it, and thought the demo was crap (as i do) i still respect it as a game! why can't you??? haven't you seen that website...wow

He don't speak of personal taste. It's not even contructive. He don't say _any_ word on StarCraft best side.

What the use of this site? He don't explain anything. It do nothing.

So what if the article is biased. Starcraft doesn't deserve it's fame. And most of his points are right anyways.

since most starcraft vs ta flame wars nowadays are fairly tame, i dont really mind. but simply stating that a game is "shit" with no actual backup is just silly. blizzard works hard on their games, and supports their customers (they released a new patch about a month or two ago i think). that, imo, is good enough reason not to give them shit. besides, its all about personal opinion (except for that REALLY old crap e.t. game on atari that was made in two weeks ).
with regards to spring, and people claiming that it is the best game ever, i dont think that is so foolish. i mean, people have the means to make it the best game ever, and mould it to exactly what they want it to be. if you love starcraft im sure you could make a spring conversion (if blizzard doesnt catch ya!)

Heh, I was just shit-stirring, but its good to see that everyone is still up for it :) I do think that while that repeats itself occasionally, most of the arguments it raised are valid.

While I don't think Starcraft is an absolutely horrible game, I do have a sore spot over it, because it muscled TA out of its prime audience, despite being a weaker game.
I also felt that much of the post TA/SC RTS's took pages from SC's "pure mechanics" book, not TA's "actual strategy" book, because they wanted to sell more games, not make better games. This, I think, is partially responsible for the rotting cesspool of ripoffs and half-hearted ideas which the RTS genre is more or less left in at the moment.
So yeah, I'm pretty biased against Starcraft, but I think it earned my ire too.

Also TA is just plain cooler! The music is better, it has better graphics and the units ARE COOL!

I mean what are Hydrolysis when compared to Pewee's or better yet, Big Bertha's. Also the Protoss carrier looks really bad when you compare it to... well... any TA unit?

but mainly its the fact that TA is actually MOD able. SC just has a bunch of "new" missions that are actually pretty repetitive. TA had new units coming out left and right, and when TA spring catches on some more, then EVEN more units will be coming out left and right. Then when SupCom comes out, EVEN MORE UNITS WILL BE COMMING OUT LEFT AND RIGHT!!!!! .

Most importantly, TA has real strategy, not a bunch of rock, paper, scissors crap that has come out in a huge amount of games, and ruined Empire Earth for me. I mean the tutorial didn├óÔé¼Ôäót even TRY to disguise the RPS system. IT SAID IT USED IT!!!!!!!! Once you compare that to TA's units and strategy and tactics, the game pales.

SC is fun, but TA is simply better!
