I made a Neutron rocket weapon for my Spider Queen and it work just fine in OTA. It work fine too in Spring but not only it stun unit, but it destroy them as well when they fly away and crashes into the groud.
Anyone know how do I fix this so the unit won't get destroyed by my paralyzer rocket ? And why can't I see the nice neutron animation like in ota ? Is there a was to make my own spring gaf files that will look like in the ota ? I really like that blue explosion and if at least it only stunned enemy instead of both stunning them and destoying them...

Old TA GAF animated explosions would look like pure ass in Spring. In Spring, we use CEGs, which are Custom Explosion Generators. You'll find them in most mods - they're just another set of TDF/FBI tags.

you could recolour that to be blue (and resize appropriately)

colourmap iirc. and im with smoth on this one. total refusal to even *glance* at the information in the wiki is the cause of your fail Lordoomer. No-one is going to hold your hand through this, no-one who is competent enough has the free time to help someone who wont even make a good honest effort.

Depends, some effects use colored sprites while others use greyscale and apply color in the CEG. Generally I'd recommend learning CEG design, it's pretty easy (just tweaking some values) and greatly influences the perceived style of your mod.
