Spring RTS Engine

I install spring and map is "Comet Catcher Redux"
mods is "BA chicken defense v1.50"
and in my spring data path "~/.spring/base"
already has file
|-- infolog.txt
|-- otacontent.sdz
|-- spring
| `-- bitmaps.sdz
|-- springcontent.sdz
|-- tacontent_v2.sdz
`-- tatextures_v062.sdz

but when I run the game, it still show the message:

"Unable to load default cursor. Check that you have the OTA
content package ("otacontent.sdz") installed in your Spring
"base/" directory."

so I can't run the game

SpringData should be "~/.spring" not "~/.spring/base".

I just put the file "otacontent.sdz" into the "~/.spring/base"
what I did is wrong ??

AFAIK chicken isnt standalone, you need BA 6.5 mod to play it

... shouldn't the message mention a file that was in the actual dependencies rather than telling you to look for otacontent as a hardcoded message?

I still can't play the game.

You have both BA chicken defense AND the BA it depends on?

That's funny, because I've been having exactly the same issues. I've installed and ran many versions of Spring on many computers and never run into this problem. Also I am not trying to run any of the BA mods, I was trying AA2.23. Any other ideas?

AA2.23 is very old and may not be supported under the current version of Spring. Changes may have broken it.

I have the same issue, but i've downloaded every sdz i can for spring! Not sure what to do, I'm going to try to download OTAcontent.sdz now and see what happens.
