Spring RTS Engine

ok, my graphics card went haywire and i have to play from my laptop. and so i encountered a problem. every single time that the game starts my laptop freezes for a couple sec's, prolly to load commander stuff, model, textures, stuff. and when that happens my system starts to make sync errors.

has anyone with a repeating freeze like this got the same problem?

I get a real similar freeze... but no sync errors...

how long is the freeze, mine is about 5-6 sec's

Is it like a 3-4 second freeze? Mine does that every game I play, I just thought it was something with the engine and accepted it. Other people do get a 1-2 second jump on me in the beginning of the game just because I got like the first few commands memorized in almost every map. Its just annoying when the timer says go and you're looking at the mp and cant move or do anything for a bit.

I think we all freeze like that
