Well his name is Atis Slakteris (Slakteris --english--> Slayer). He is now the finance minister.
Too bad he wasn't a general:
A: Who's the commanding officer of our enemy?
B: General Slayer!
A: HOLY... !!!

But to the point. Our Prime minister says that he redirected Slakteris as a finance minister because it does happens in other countries? Does it? Do any of you with Parliamentary Republics politic system in your country have or had a minister that has been in more than one seat? :?:

No one is universal. No one can be good at every angle.

Yeah... they regularly shuffle a bunch of cabinet ministers around in Canada, it's going to happen again within the next month

Here in a country that no one has even heard of despite us building a pair of giant phalluses so people would notice us next to Singapore (Malaysia), the Prime Minister (originally also the Finance Minister) and his Deputy (previously doubling as Defense Minister) swapped portfolios (PM is now Defense, DPM now Finance) recently as part of a gradual power transition plan within the political party.

Don't ask me for details or reasons or anything like that, I didn't pay any attention to the whole thing.
