Long period pinging

Sometimes I ping the lobby to check if my connection is decent for playing, but then its bad it usually keeps jumping up and down, what means it might lead me to think its good then its not. So for the sake of people with problems like mine, I think it would be good if the ping command caused the lobby to ping, lets say, 5 times in a row with some spacing between then, so we dont have to do this manually.

I believe the ping to the lobby server is irrelevant for playing. What matters is the ping to the hosting player.

True, but it helps measure my internet, I mean, If I have a good ping to the server I know its working right and can risk enter someones game :)

No because you may just have a good connection to the server which can have nothing todo with your conenction to the host.
Alternatively the host may be having a day (possibly induced by excessive pinging from the lobby? )

But my connection to the lobby is always good, so then its bad I know my internet is sucking. I already entered games after having the lobby report my ping bad and, trust me, its not pretty...

Include command IDs with every command at measure time between sending command and reply. Calculate moving average over a fixed timespan and voila, you have long period pinging with barely any extra strain on server, and you don't even need to type a command for it.
(This assumes command IDs are actually working in TASServer, no clue whether they actually do.)
