map change causes desync

Perhaps this is tasclient related, but its only been happening since spring update.
Change the map and all players become desynched. They each have to leave battle and re-enter to resync.
Also i get a lot of:
[23:48:44] Your map differs from the host's one.
which it appears I can safely ignore
