I was talking about transport not public transport in particular.transport system??? who needs it? everyone here has a car or a truck, and we never ride the trains anyways... airplanes is where its at
Freeways, roads, bypasses, lanes, streets, driveways etc. Your transport system is most in need to money where cars and trucks are involved, afterrall america is the biggest gas guzzler in the world, the brittish media have already ahd a field day of president bush refusing to admit that pollution from humans affects climate.
And if I remember correctly Britain was several thousand miles away with its own concerns, anyways the only reason america exists as an english speaking state is because the puritans where allowed to leave for there after oliver cromwell etc..
Eitherway fi america carries on like it is, it is doomed, and it will pull the rest fo the world down with it, politically and environmentally. Not to mention the huge economic impact the US is having on the world, the economic outlook appears to be dependant on either countries like chian and india importing more or the dollar becoming stronger and the US buying more foreign goods.

You get a lot of your technology from europe and japan, china makes most of your clothes, japan makes a lot of your electronics, a lot of your research si joint with another country, your government has hudnreds of billions of dollars of debt in trade defecits, your wars range across the globe, you cause a quarter of all human made pollution.
America is an imperialist capitalist state, intent on spreading its politics across the world, so no country opposes it. The public for the most part simply dont realisewhat their government is doing. The media doesnt ecen critiscise their government fgs for fear of being unpatriotic.
