Spring RTS Engine

If I alt tab out of Spring, the game isn't in the taskbar or in the Task Manager applications tab. It IS, however, in the process tab. As far as I can tell, the game is still running just fine, I just can't get back into it.

I'm running Vista x64.

My system specs:
Intel E8400
Radeon 4870 running 8.9 Catalyst drivers. (I had this problem with older drivers too)
Gigabyte EP43-DS3L mobo
4 GB of RAM

I didn't have this problem on my old PC, which was running XP. I tried setting spring.exe to XP compatibility mode, but it didn't fix the problem. This isn't really a serious issue, but it would be nice if I could fix it.

still i want the window maximizes at start, can anyone code that for us?

Grab Process Explorer, it's better than task manager in every way and you can right click a process, and hit window->bring to front. It might work.

You can do that in task manager too, but process explorer is orders of magnitude better as a program, so much so that microsoft bought them up and they're now in charge of task manager itself.

You can only 'bring to front' on the applications tab of task manager, which doesn't show hidden windows, so Process Explorer is needed.

How's this for weird: I ran Process Explorer, started spring, and alt-tabbed. I right click on spring.exe in Process Explorer, and it tells me spring has no windows.

Spring has severed its ties with Windows!
