I had 3,000,000 points by level 7 :-p the asteroid shit gets hard... I actually died in there...


I'll beat it eventually... I got it saved right now with 12 lives left

Purple gun rules the asteroid level.

well, it started well, but by lvl 6 it degenerated into ever deeper levels of ridiculousness in an attempt to kill me (multiple things, firing multiple missiles on multiple, changing trajectories) There's only so far skill can take you and after that it's a game of luck.

It's a lot like stargunner, it introduces some good new features (the missiles and the purple thing) but removes some good ones (satellites, shields, ability to acquire more lives). If you die in the middle of the asteroids and don't get all your weapons back (I'm not sure what controls that) you're basically screwed. There's also stuff attacking you during the asteroids (which I'm sure must be breaking SOME cardinal rule of scrolling shooters) and stuff just appearing out of thin air - the only things that should change your situation come from the side of the map.

Nope.

I dint die once untill i got to the 4 lvl. I only had problems with the bosses at some points, and then i moved on. The thing is to have the skill to survive! So if you survive, you have HEAVY wepons and pwns everything. But if your hit ONCE, you lose it all, and must survive till you find egnuff wepon and missile boxes or gets a ''P'' box(maxes out wepon level).

Avoding all the projecktiles and stuff is the skill in this game.

Nothing or noone is perfect. But yea, it has issues.

Beat it on first try. I must have forgotten to up the difficulty setting or something. The purple gun was nice, I like how it locked on multiple targets.

Played it before. Easy as hell.
