Spring RTS Engine

Could someone PM me when the site isn't terribly ugly? I like reading stuff here, but I seriously cannot stand the background.

bright white mixed with grey isnt such a good look. it burns my eyes!
i dont think its much the backround more of the form white itself.

Harden up, ladies. This look is so much better than the old site.

It has a much colder feel to it now.
Either change the background to white or the inside to something else to make it look more natural.

It's to prevent Global whinnying Dumbass about being too hot.

An improved and more matching forum theme is on the way, just be patient.

It would be nice if the background was simply the same as before when viewing the forums. I'm not sure If I dare but also would suggest bringing back the old logo/banner too as one of possible to pop up just for old times sake.

I could make the background image 1/27th of its current size while making it look identical

Maybe install the standard set of phpBB themes? I'm sure one of them would be a bit less jarring.
