Spring RTS Engine

You know the Problem with to much space on Harddrive is, you mess it up, you fill it with useless stuff, in between pearls and important stuff- and you don´t want to sort it.. so you hope for a mercy crash or buy a new additional harddrive... Not before long, you and i might have terrabytes of useless stuff hang around...

How to sort it?
Are there Programmes to find Pictures, Music, Movies who are doulbed under diffrent Names and delte one Case?

pS: Spring is not unguilty.. maps, stuff, modversions,, all stored


PS: I know some say store it in the Net, but the net is not yours, and not there forever... so beloved stuff, will always find its way home to C:

Indeed the most cruel thing you can do with yourself using a computer is to trying to separate what you want (or are afraid to delete because you dont know what the hell its there for) from what you dont want anymore after years of constant use. Unhappyfull if you want to open space or find things you have to... sort... it... After this you can try taking note of everthing you got in the computer, what is there for and where it is to make sure you will always have everthing neatly organized... but make sure to NOT lose your notes, cause if you start organizing with notes and then lose then things get even worse.

I found windirstat useful when I was using windows

it displays a graphical representation of disk usage, helping you identify larger things you don't need

Windirstat FTW. Also, there are some good duplicate-finder programs out there too that I used to clean up my iTunes.

For your pictures, try picassa (from google), it does a full recursive search. I like it because when it comes to textures, i am very forgetful, so it helps me find long lost textures and various other things. Not to mention all those Tila Tequila pics I downloaded and forgot about...

Why search for porn buried in the computer? Isnt it all the same? :)
