In case anyone hasn't been paying attention to cremuss's thread. :-)
Cremuss says his models are free to use by anyone, and I have the same policy for this, so enjoy.

Win

I love Cremuss remodels. Your texture work is very good too. I hope you all could redo the entire X Annihilation units collection.

Nice job !

Kaine, is that image of the version with the added bloom?

No, wz, this is bloom (AKA 'impossible to play in, blurry mode').

WZ means "is it the version of the texture with the residual glow on the panels next to the glowy bits?"

I was referring to baked-in bloom on the texture.

Thanks all. :-) And yes Zsinj, this is the version where I added the "bloom". Does you asking mean that I didn't add enough, that it isn't very visible?

Yeah. If I get a chance I'll edit your texture and post up what I mean, though I don't know if I'll have time. I also think that the energy effect you have on the side of the generator is a little bit twee.

Which is not to take away from you, it's a nice texture, and much better then anything anyone else has stepped up to produce lately for the OTA stuff (except for TRO, but he seems to have disappeared again), but it just feels so bright and neat and shiny. I always imagined the TA universe, and really, any war universe as being a lot dirtier and grungier - maybe it's a taste thing.

Perhaps. Anyways feel free to edit the texture, I have no problem with that, which is why I included the source files.

Nar, I'm not in the habit of one-upping, I'd be doing it to show you what I meant so that you can do better next time. I'll try to have a look at it later this week.

I was talking about the soft shading...

For modeling I use both.
