I think you overdid your bandwidth there, genblood. They seem to have dropped your site. Tripod is crap anyway.

Use http://www.fileuniverse.com to upload images in the future.

You really need to fix some of those textures, man.

I like it!

Most textures are fine, but get rid of the yellow stuff. It looks strange on a metal map why yellow...

Need to have transitions between tiles, and have them repeat more nicely.

I like it... if I offer any advice, I would reccomend adding some form of a trasition texture to the metal where the red and silver collide, etc. maybe a thin black trench (small) or like a little bit of overlapping panels...

just so they look a little more in place.. kinda like sand on a shoreline

but all in all thats an impressive map! =]

I assume you didn't run SharpMap to compile it, the smooting option was turned off .... if you did use SharpMap... how'd you turn it off with it? I'm intrigued :-)

..

Thanks for all the input... I plan on tweeking the texture map
to make it look better. Also, I did use sharpmap to compile this
map. Its a great util and looking forward to the next update...

Working on the height map took time. Fixing stray pixels with
PS Pro. After 12 + hours I'm getting better at it

Real life is messing up my free time now... I hope to have it
done by Saturday. The only real problem after that is to find
a way get it on FUs web site. I might even convert it to a BT
file ..

You seem to have heighmap - texture map aligning problem. On that picture one can see black overflowing south shores and texture going to far on north shores.

is that a remake of an old TA map?

it really reminds me of a map made specially for one of the last games of a champioship...
dont remember who played.. it was... in 1998 or 99...

.

. Correct its a old TA map. I've changed alot to the textures and
a few other things. I still have a few more issues with the height
map and texture to fix. I hope to have it done by tomorrow ... 8)
