Near Vertical Serfaces error

Maybe this has been seen befor, but I shall post regardless.

I've just finshed a new map. Its all looking fine and dandy, but there is one momentus problem.

In the center is a large pyramid like structure. (see maps section for some pics...) The problem is that it has several near vertical serfaces. And the units can climb them!?!?! Its weird!?! Weirder still... ther are slopes up all four sides... but units refuse point blank to go down 2 of the sides of it. Like its to steep or somthing. But what realy takes the mikky is teh fact they wont go down the near vertixcal serfaces on those sides either...
Now either im goin nuts or theres some serios error when dealing with near vertical serfaces...
I could send the map over if thats any help...
I was thinking it may be an error when it creates the path finding files...

Any help apreciated!

this was actual version if im not wrong. mh 2?
the zumo climbed on that direction only, it came from west.

COOL!!! 8) i mean...*please fix this bug* :p i wish units could still climb infinite slopes...that was SOooooo good for raiding on CPIA :D

Not when they climb them instantly... that just sucks seeing your units jump 20 ft instantly to a new platform.

How odd, on my map i belive it was that it was climbing up the north and east sides... and failing to get down the other two...

I may make a quick 1024 map to test it on...

And more bissare... Just tryed it and now everyone can go up all ther vertical serfaces... typical...
However the fact that they go up them atall is stupid... the units are chosing to go down the sides insted of teh rams because its quicker!! DOH

The problem is probably that the pathfinding works on 2x2 tiles and when averaging a 90 degree and a 0 degree tile it got 45 degrees which many units can climb. I have changed how the averaging works now so that it gives results more like the expected,

I've had the same with flash tanks, they would just climb the pilars like ants. Definitely a bug.
