me too, imagine a huge (50) squad of these things, would be intense (and mabye laggy too :P). Looking forward to seeing it in some mod/game :-)

How was it made? empty objects then emit-sfx?

i have no idea..

look closer my young apprentice. theres quite clearly at least 1 polygon in that model ;)

its primary weapon is a long range lagger, but also has anti air lagging flame throwers as backup?

awesome, good deduction, your correct, and if max particles are reached, and god help you if it happens, it wont be completely invisible either.

Time to turn up max particles. I have it set on the minimum as particles as of yet dont serve a gameplay purpose. And my graphics card is rubbish, got to cut back someware to make porc maps playable

Particles really don't decrease your fps that much. I went from 1000 -> 5000 on my GMA950 without noticeable effects. Cool unit btw, I'd like to see some more stuff done like that.
