Yeah, I admit that I don't understand how Evo works; but it seems like 90% of the metal spots here are very easily accessible and defensible to each side, with only ~2 metal spots (on each side of the river) being risky to take and hold. Seems like there's not much here to encourage people to kill each other over territory?

Otherwise the texture is nice. The trees are good, but they tend to have some unnatural gaps when you look at them from lower angles. Some randomness to the angles that the leaf polygons are set at would help to resolve this I think.

Porcing in Evolution is pretty much impossible. For hardcore dedicated porcers you have several answers:

Bombers - Nuff Said
Gunships - Don't die easily except to regular AA towers, those things hurt but are hampered bigtime by their shorter range
Emp Silo - The things cost basically nothing, it's your own damn fault for not having them
Orbital laser - Seriously... It's not hard or expensive to make 15 storage buildings

Arty, arty, arty - Cheap, simple and effective

Massive army - Defenses won't stop a large army. They might slow you down, but they won't ultimately stop an ever advancing horde, also not to mention, lolempsilo?


Also keep in mind that tanks in Evolution are not slowed down by water. Additionally, in evolution, weapons fire is not affected by trees being in the way.

As far as the trees themselves, I did notice what you were talking about warlord, but they are the s44 trees, and tbh I really just don't have the time to edit them.
