Spring RTS Engine

A Thread dedicated only to cheer up to Spring. Just looked on the Maps, the Mods, the whooooooooooole Thing. Insane, great, pure... just wow. So for once let´s say only the positiv things about it...

spring is still the best game i have ever ever played. thanks to everyone who ever made maps, mods contributed to the source code etc

Even though spring is hard to figure out, once you do, there's nothing quite like it.

"Epic Win" doesn't give it justice.

Spring has two things that make it awesome:
1) An awesomely awesome modding platform (of awesome) with incredible versitality
2) An awesome wealth of mods and content (of awesome quality) being produced

In sort, Spring is awesome. Awesomely awesome. Awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome.

Did I say it was awesome?

Except that its so bloody hard to get a decent 1v1 going.
I swear ive been at it a whole day with no takers

Unfortunately it's full of unbeatable finns instead. These supreme beings are unstoppable. Be afraid.

I've been playing Spring since I was introduced to it by Mightysheep, ( My good friend hated by just about everybody ).
Since then I've been addicted and stopped buying expensive games for my 360.
Despite (my own opinion) Spring being considerably better than retail company games, it's also free so in the long term Spring has and still is saving my an incredible amount of money.

The things that make Spring great:

* A fun friendly community ( With the exception of a few annoyances )
* A wide range of maps and mods
* A small community, like a big family ( To my favour as it allows everyone to be more included, not like Xbox Live where if you meet someone your very unlikely to ever see them again unless you add them as a friend )
* It's constantly being updated and tweaked for new content and bug repairs, ( It's well maintained )
* It's a game with choice, there are millions of tactics to use and you can play however you want to play and you're not forced to play in a certain way.
* And best of all, it's free!

I'd like to say a big thank you to the Spring community and I hope the be thanking you for many more years to come :)

Isnt it fun how the awesome part of spring people say its the best and call the more attention to is its freeness? :)
