New Rotatable Camera System

Okay, I've drawn (had no access to a computer) a plan of how I wish the rotatable camera system to be, feel free to vote for or against it, implement it or not, but I consider it to be the ultimate. For the best RTS experience!
P.S. if you have problems understanding/reading or want a clearer form of expression, I'll make one...

ctrl+middle click changes cameras. It seems you have not discovered the total war, rotatable ota camera, or the fps camera.

I've seen them all, and I'm not happy with either one. I like the OTA camera the most, but it can't rotate. The rotatable one rotates around itself, when it should orbit around the focus point. And changes altitude slowly instead of zooming. There is no good one. This new camera should be in place of the rotatable one. Sorry for not making it clear from the beginning.

Basically the populous camera combined with the OTA camera?

I haven't played populous

edit: I've seen a video; yes, it's pretty much the rotation I would love.

Ya know, It never previously occurred to me, but this is the reason I hate the total war camera so much.

I think this can be done, though I won't use it, it isn't a bad suggestion.

If it gets done, it should be as an entirely new camera, not a replacement for the existing rotatable camera.
