do u hate the CORE unit looks I DO i think the units should look more incectish like core logo see

see it looks like incect head. so i was thinking that ppl should start redesinging the unit... actually the A.K. looks little bit like it should look like... if i have spare time i will try to do some concept art stuff...

and c'moon ppl lets make CORE look better than ARM

And i think that the current goal is to run content from TA, right?

And i dont think that they are suposed to be insectlike becuase the logo. Aint that the core commanders head or something?

Anyway, core are computers. They have machiniry and heavy stuff. Arm would rather have something more insect like, cuase of spider tank.

The core fusion plant looks blockish and ugly, the cloakable looks better but not as good as it should.

The core should be more spikes, bare machinary and metalic, spiky, harsh strict lines, dark with contrasting highlights, red and green lights, golden, orange-yellow brown rusted machinary look, as if they arent bothered about their looks as long as they look menacing. They should also try nto to resemble familiar buildings and go for abstract unusual alien like designs absed not on what they look like but rather as long as they fit their purpose and it looks menacing ti dotn matter......

Perhaps if they also made more machinary noises, especially when moving.

While all models need reworking in all races, not just the core I am strongly against just dropping the entire feeling and design of the race. Core is my favorite race, an opinion which many share, thus making you pretty offending when you yell out "do you hate the core looks" in badly spelt manner. It should definetly not look like any insect stuff or any similar stupid ideas. Core is blocky, robotic, slow and heavy. And it will stay that way.

This thread is just a hole full of unrealistic lame ideas. Either make the race some better models based on old designs or just make a new race. Don't bastardize the race like this.

lol, no I wouldnt agree that scrapping the race and redesigning everythign is good. Just that textural a model changes are need to make them more realistic, blocky models arent pretty, and I dont like the idea of an insect commander for core either. Just put more detail into core with emphasis on machinary, menacing looks and cold ruthlessness, and not blocks and polygons.

i'll try to make some crappy concpet art, CORE should look locked and loaded whilst ARM should look harmless, until the guns come out of the holsters of the mavs/peewees

Still core shouldn't have spikes. Why would the core needs spikes? They don't care for menacing artistic looks, only how easily the thing will kill in combat, and the units should be redesigned with THAT in mind.

Core already looks better than Arm, why bother?

No I'm thinking of exxagerating sharp edges more though not too much that they look silly and spiky.

ok I like core.. the storm looks better than the rocko... the slasher looks... a lil better the crasher looks nice the thud looks better... now... the fusion I like the design but it does look outdated... but thats just TA the sumo looks badass... the morty looks... well it just looks like what it does. the maverick does look better... the millenium is the baddest lookin boat of them all so...

i think that at the very least someone should remodel the commies in very high poly form... and i mean veeery high poly. i think we can get them looking more or less as good as those pics, and that would be soo freakin cool
