Spring RTS Engine

A few months ago I asked for small icons to represent channel icons. However since then I have made a brand new channel picker thats much prettier.

Now instead of tiny rectangular icons, I am using a 256x256 png, and with alpha transparency where it applies. Expect the 256x256 version to be resized from anywhere between 32x32 and 256x256 once its loaded so make sure its scalable.

bump. I ave my fancy channel picker working and I've put in icons for my channels spring lobby, s44 and the CA channels.

Guys, the only text here that can be scaled is that on the WarC sign.

I should probly just have it read CA in a large font.

There is also alpha transparency available, use it where appropriate.

Here you can see the channel icons as well as the lack of more channel icons, and the many utterly pointless unused channels we have.

As you can see they're not at their full scale, and they'll be used in a lot of places where they'll be smaller and downscaled. I wouldn't expect them to drop below 32x32 though, and I reckon they'll be fine if they're still recognizable at 64x64.

And I really would encourage the use of alpha transparency.

I've done a few tests and I can now handle any power of 2 sized image above 256x256. So 512x512 and 1024x1024 are allowed too.

Easy enough to make one with no transparency and no background too.
