How do i update Spring in ubuntu?

hi guys, i'm new and i want to update the game, but however, i don't make it, i try it with the console, please help me
Other things that happens is thati cannot load any map or mod, it says something about the unitsync
if you help me, thank you, if not, thank you too

If you got it via the PPA, Spring is already updated.
Can you tell us what errors are you having exactly?
