Spring RTS Engine

i think it was in the spring forums somewhere, some one posted a few months back a video of an upcoming imaging program that would allow for people to take video and make a 3d structure of it and then wrap it around the 3d setting to make a uv like shape. i think the video had a demo with a suv in a parking lot and then later the Sidney opera house.

does any one remember what im talking about or am i mad?
