I belive Its because... I am the man when It come to map making...
Bost, bost, bost... dam i'm so modest...
Just had a very good heightmap.
I've found this assum way to place random amounts of metal... And I think I might be able to invers it to make metal veins in the ground...
next map will have seams of metal showing with any luck...

YOWZA! Totally awesome man!! Cool with anything! Add some rocks, ruins (space pyramids!) and possible some sandworms (swallow buildings whole they do) and find a way to add a sandstorm, and foot prints and you have got a super awesome map.
Kudos├óÔé¼Ôäó aGorm. And you say the Zombie Extermination Team is cool!

Nice map, agorm.
Zoombie, I would normally laugh and tell you how silly you are about sandworms on a TA map.
... But zwzsg has gone and made some sandworms for OTA, so it's probably entirely possible
I'm sure he'll be along in a moment to link you to an animated gif of his sandworm attack...

I wouldent say an idea is silly after thinking up Insect Wars...
But no matter! Sandworms would make a game even more interesting. Its funny when they eat your enemys, right up untill they attack you!

the compression on the tiles look disgusting! This just highlights how badly we need a new compression method!

The map is cool though!

Doomweaver.... er siriosly... Thats not realy compressed much at all. You can hardly see a square, unless you go way way out...
Glad to be of service...

Here we go:
In TA these swallow units fine.
Demonstration pic. I have no idea why Spring refuse to execute the attach-unit command. I also wonder why sometimes the worm refuse to work, or looks like it's falling from the sky. Also it works in OTA but not in XTA, maybe the build menu is full?
I still have lots of work to make it
works fine in TA, and since Spring adds all its incomprenhensible non-workiness on my units, (actually I'm much surprised I managed to go as far as having them track and do the attack animation right once in a while), there's still a long way to go till you get them. And since we don't have (yet?) the possibility to add neutral units on a map....

Well, as it is now spring only allows transporting when the unit has a transportcapacity > 0 in its fbi file.

Thx Fnordia. Now it swallows fine. I updated the picture above. What's odd is that even with transportcapacity=2; it seem to be able to swallow an infinite number of units. Well, at least this way I don't have to ask you how to give an infinite transportcapacity. Also, is there any way to know within the script if it's been runned by TA or by Spring?

NICE! Sandworms! Yay! looks nice. But what happens whit the units after they are swallowed? are they still counted as a unit or do they die?
