Spring RTS Engine

Sorry about my other topic, it wasn't the GPU as I had originally thought.. reason why I assumed it was the GPU was because we had a driver problem which has been fixed.

So back to the problem, when I host a game and she trys to connect, her game starts to go funny, the text flickers then just quit's back to the desktop and the lobby program isn't effected... which isn't really funny at all lol.

We've both got the same version of Spring/battleroom, an we've both got XTA and BA installed.
I've also tried hosting a game on my other PC, while I connect to it, an it gave me the same problem as when I host a game or she does.
So going by that, its not a mobo/gpu etc driver related problem.. if its doing it on both my PC's and her laptop.

They're all different spec's, my main PC runs Vista 32-bit, I have an ATi x1950 1GB Pro card, the other is running XP Pro with a Sempron 3000 and an nvidia 6800 Ultra card.
As for the laptop, its the MX6650 model by Gateway, with an intel 915GM intergrated GPU, running XP Media Center.

I've also tried hosting past my router to see if there was a problem there, but it gives the same results.

Any suggestions?

after about say 30 seconds it quits back out to the lobby, again we've both tried connecting with just the modem (no router or firewall in the way).

Anyone?
I've had another sift through the forums to see if my problem I'm having has been mentioned before, but all anyone said was "buy a new graphics card" etc... thats not an option as we can play HL2, BF2 an so on with no problems.

We can both run the game fine without trying to connect to each others PC, so its deffenatley nothing to do with graphics cards, or our PC's for that matter.

This USED to work without a problem, now it just won't connect at all..
its deffenatley frustrating

Open up port 8452 on your router to both computers.

it just decided to start working the ports where already opened from the last time we played though.. oh well lol.

is there a fix found by u ?

i have same prob and many in the forum too...
