IMO all units, sturctures, etc. should be like map icons when TABed.. nothing more to say.

well ye i know it can be bypassed that way but i dont want the unit icon range be too short..

its almost minimun already and still in some realy small maps all units are not shown as icons when tabed :<

If it's zoomed close enough for you to easily tell the units apart, why do you want icons?

IMHO it seems a reasonable feature to override the icon distance check in the tab-zoom mode (to always show icons)
(Tab-zoom mode already has other special stuff linked to it like hiding minimap, so it wouldn't even be that strange.)

because it isnt zoomed close enough(TAB=max zoom out a:sdf:adsf) and icons are much more easier to spot from ground colored same as unit..
IMO icons while TAB should be default.

imo you should be able to adjust your icon distance in-game. You can adjust so many other distance-based features, and I have actually found myself in-game wishing that I could adjust it - especially in IW, which can be quite icon-reliant at highly competitive times, and at others you want it to be lower so that you can appreciate the units.
