How do you manualy install 1994 mod with out an installer aplication. I use an Imac lepord. I put the 1994 folder in the mod folder and I have a few maps but when I load a map and it is time to choose the mod it won't show up on the mod list. :(

I tied following instructions but it was not that clear:

"Some mods have multiple files to them. For example, "Absolute Annihilation" currently contains the base mod file, then extra files for the given version being played and the desired 'mutator'. Place all these into the mod folder."

Can you plz tell me what this means.

Pull the sdz/sd7 files out of the archive and put them in the mods folder.

It's a folder not a file that comes out of the archive

Were you so in awe with that concept that you were afraid to look inside?

Forb, he's on a mac. O_o

tokolak: That quote is talking about when a mod comes as a zip file with a couple files in it that you have to put in the right folders. 1944 is not such a mod. To install 1944, you just put the .sdz in the mods folder and it will work. When you open it, you're actually looking at the internal files of the mod, and you don't need to do that.

It's also possible that your web browser was 'just trying to help' and renamed the file into a .zip, when it is supposed to end in .sdz.
