odd line glitch

Hi 8)

I'm running TA Spring on Ubuntu Hardy. Every time something is being built or constructed, lines shoot all over the place while the wireframe is being drawn in.

It doesn't seem to affect performance (although I've had a crash or two), but it's distracting and annoying to look at.

Has anyone else seen this problem? I have an ATI radeon XPress 200 (crappy onboard) if that helps.

It's an ATI Radeon Xpress 200 (not a card, it's onboard), running on their proprietary driver. I've been told that ATI drivers never work right on Linux.

I've been playing around in the .springrc settings but nothing in there seems to help... Guess it's time for a graphics card? :?

I'm picking up an NVidia card next chance I get.

I get this under Vista + ATI xpress 1100 with any version of ATI Catalyst drivers. I've only ever seen this bug in particular on ATI chipsets.
