Ok, so in gundam I have 2 units with brawler type flight.

now, when I tell them to attack they will attack for a while fine, but the goufh will eventually land. Anyone have any idea on this?

it has them but it a target aproaches it doesn't lift off even if it has the fuel. It just lands on the ground next to it's target rather then staying on the move.

I don't think we've ever not had any problems with gunships in IW. Their flight code is just totally retarded.

its sad, cause i like their circle the target movement, i wanted that in my tank, which is a low flying gunship

hack out the fuel tags and boost its LOS, see if that makes a diffrence

most units in gundam have >1000 los and the ffan which also will land even if enemies can be seen is without the fuel tags.

Could it be the wide circles it flies are occasionally taking it out of LOS? I doubt it's something this simple, because I've seen the decide to plop themselves down right next to the damn target!

yeah I am not sure why they are doing it. I ran out of time this morning and could not check the fuel tag thing but I suspect that is not it on account that the FFan does the same crap.

*post to bump thread*

ok, one thing to pay attention to is that when I select the fan fan(the second gundam unit) you do not see it having an attack command. Any unit that picks a target has the attack icon showing that it has been given a target. Instead somehow the gundam brawler units in a sort of amnesiac way forget they are targeting something. Yet the TA brawler clearly is targeting things.

The video is nine megs and no, the sound added no size(I DUNNO WHY! but I added it so it would at least be less dull!).

anyway, watch this bullshit!

OH GODAMNIT!

ok here is some high faggotry, apparently gnome informs me that it has to do with the fact that the units are moving too far past their circle of range or something so the godamn things forget their target at that point! And then just land. it is all terribly stupid and something to do with the broken assed aircraft code!

what the fuck, so the unit is TOO FAST TO KEEP IT'S TARGET?!? Apparently speed causes memory loss!?!?

Raise the range, then, see if it goes away.

range = 700
los = 1425

but the Fan fan which is the second unit has a much shorter range AND flies slower.. something else is going on.
