EMPTY base after install
Hi everyone, I am having problems starting Spring, I got the (kind of) famous [sounds/button9.wav "cant find wav file"] error, I of course checked the wiki (http://spring.clan-sy.com/wiki/Ubuntu_install)
But I checked my ~/.spring/base/ folder for something and its completely empty so... logically speaking... Why do I need a empty folder? (it could be created anyway at need-time), so I am guessing that a lot of things are missing.
> I installed Spring from apt-get, everything was OK
> Then I create the needed directories. OK
> I installed the CA MOD, everything was OK
> I skip OTA Content (I did that because it says it need to XTA, AA, BA and I got CA)
According to the wiki:
could not open file: gamedata/defs.lua
Make sure your ~/.spring does not contain an outdated version of base/springcontent.sdz because a new version of this file is distributed with spring. If you do, just remove it.
sounds/button9.wav "cant find wav file"
Same problem as above.
But.. that didn't help since my base directory is completely empty.... any help? anything would be really appreciated
