It's a bug, from what i know. A mobile fusion cant be lifted, and i think that not even Goliaths can be. The krgoth thing is being fixed in the future.

//cantbetransported=1;
Commented out lines in the .fbi file generally aren't bugs as they have to be put there manually

You are playing XTA, a mod by the Swedish Yankspankers that change the stats of many units, including making Krogoth transportable.
Install the
OTA patch to revert to the old official original TA unit stats and see if Krogoths are still lifteable.

EDIT: see posts below, its not a cheat.
its a bug and you (spaniard) exploited it yesterday (against genbool jonnyc and me) b4 posting this... you forgot? (that game in wich the hovers wont leave jonny's island btw).
e: forgot to save game.
so this bug is really cheating?.
other game screen.

I'm not so sure about this XTA unit pack. I've given it a good go, but it doesn't seem to be as ballanced as the original. Is there any option for using the original TA clicking controls? I was mightly confused and fustrated when trying to get used to this left click to release as opposed to right click to release, units went everywhere!!

It seems odd to be embracing the microsoft games way of doing things

I've kinda wondered...can multiple units be carried by a Atlas if the FBI is changed?

mongus ...
During that game didn't we win .. it ?
I've known about that bug .. or that way to transport
the kroggie ...
Also you can use the transport ships to transport
up to a least 3 kroggie's .. I only had 3 at that time ..
A fix would be nice, but also cut the resourses in half to build
and make it more killable too ..

Genblood, the game in the screen im not sure, i saw the kroggoth cutting through your base, i had to leave because my system was at 96% at times.
The game spaniard did it, we lost.
2 kroggots (2) came from the side, the defenses where at the only path in the middle, how did the kroggs pass??! (floodeddesert)
We had 2 anihilators, 4 sentinels, a bunch of defenders about 7 flaks.. two guardians 2 or 3 pop cannons....
all gone by the krogg, (they where overlapping from the side).
Most possibly whe had lost that game anyway.. but realizing that ppl is cheating, and that you have to edit a file to do so, is not nice.
we at least should know who is doing that.
Its hard enough for noobs, its even most hard if your opponent cheats.
The game is fun as it is.. why to cheat?
....

Is this a bug or not? (EDIT: Should read: Is this intentional or not?) Can we get a for sure answer from the SYs? Personally I think Krogies health should be made to 1/3 or atleast 1/2. Goliath's health should go down as well.

It's not a bug. Well, it's not a bug in the sense of an engine bug. Whether or not it's a good gameplay element is debatable, but it's an XTA "feature", not a general engine thing. Just use the OTA patch

I'm not so sure how to go about ballancing the Goliaths and Krogoths. In my experience, the Goliaths tend to require massive amounts of energy to have them fire for a sustained length of time.
With regards to the transporting issue though. For an island map such as flooded desert isn't restricting large units to stay on the islands they were created on only promote defence to the extent of stalemate?
It made me angry when i read that people cheat. Do these little bastards get pleasure from being an imaginary winner? These are people who would feel smart in a spelling be against todlers.
How do you record games?
Mongus, with regards to the static defernces, anihilators are usless vs moving targets, but it seems a little mad doesn't it? Would radar targetting have helped the krogoths be more accurate and perhaps fire from outside of these defences ranges? I think about 11 or so warlord battleships may have been helping from afar... not to sure whether they made it in time or not.

Not sure if its a bug, but now Kroggs are tranportable by valkyres.
No cheat needed. no tweak either.
Not sure if they "fit" in hovers or ships tranports. (btw ship transport pathing is really really bad).
Very sorry about calling you a cheater Spaniard.
should have checked first.
edit:
About units being transported i totally agree, the troops must be transported among isles, and in other maps its usefull too.
Its the way to go many times.
The kroggoth used to be
not trasportable, thats why it made me think about some cheat.
Annihilators do hit moving units...
The actual Spring radar system, makes any unit fail when having
only radar signal. (8))
You have to have the unit within eye contact (LOS) to hit acuratelly at it.
The targetting facility fixes this, and makes shooting on radar signal
more accurate.
The games are saved every time in the file test.sdf in the TA Spring Folder.
Copy and rename this file, as it gets overwritten every time you start a game.
to watch it, place the file on the sping folder.
run spring.exe and say no to host, then write the replay name as the ip address.
e: so much ota publicity around here...

It is not a bug. It is no a cheat. It is feature wanted and implemented by the Swedish Yankspankers. It is intented to make the game more balanced (whether it succeeds in bringing better balance is a matter of debate).
Spring is
not shipped with the old official original unit set.
Instead it is shipped with XTA, a mod (short for modification) which takes the old units and changes their statistic, such as giving longer range, more armor, etc... on some units, or less power on other units. It also resizes the models a bit, and a few scripts have been slightly edited too. One of the change of XTA is to make Krogoth transportable. It is not a bug. It is not a cheat. It is a feature wanted by XTA creators.
If you wish to revert to the old official original TA balance, here's a patch to revert buildtree and unitstats and weaponstats to the old one:

Yeps Spaniard, the unit set boundled with Spring is based on a mod, based ahum.. on the original units existent in TA:CC, (wich includes ota).
Im sure you know what are the usual objectives of a mod for TA.
zwzsg, i know im playing xTA, the reason im surprised is because i had tried this myself (in early versions), and was not able to do so.
Maybe im wrong, but thats what it recall.
e: tx i will dl it too! (use rar to compress bigguer files).
e2: we where so doomed b4 krog time!
