Spring Players Club, TASDownloads, CADownloader and all the other download sites listed in #Main don't have any widgets at all.

That's all the Lua widgets currently available. The vast majority of widgets ever created are not available for download anywhere.

This is a public request to have all widgets uploaded again by their creators, or if not by anyone who has the widget files around. Please note on the widgets if they work for .76B1 or if they need to be updated by someone before they will work again, since there's a decent amount of "abandoned" widgets out there that need to be fixed.

Thank you, now we just need some of the other prolific authors like JK, TheFatController, etc to upload their widgets.

Yeah manually searching the text is NOT the same as a proper sorted file system with all the widgets in one place for looking through them and not just ctrl-f .lua and hitting next a bunch of times.

Sorry guys, but did I miss anything? Since the site only delivers 404, where can I use my fabulous search skills?

List of widgets that still aren't on JobJol or any other download site:
See All Commmands (Old version available on one site), FPS Manager, Idle Builders (with icons), Energy Stall widget, D-Gun energy stall widget, Take Reminder, and all the updated widget versions in CA's SVN that aren't packaged for individual download and uploaded elsewhere.

CA has the Take reminder, FPS manager, idle builders etc widget. You can download them ridectly from the CA svn, so I don't see the problem there, unless they contain images (which said widgets don't) in which case downloading the files individually is a bit annoying).

Am I crazy or is this not in the root / trunk / mods / ca / LuaUI / Widgets directory with everything else you mentioned?

EDIT: Found it http://trac.caspring.org/browser/trunk/ ... UI/Widgets I have no idea if it still works since its been 8 months since it was last updated at least.

It works fine. I have a version that I have made further modifications to, but it's only appropriate for a fast GPU.

No other site is admined/maintained/backedup/cared-for as well as spring.clan-sy.com is, this is important because in practice LUA is not nearly as redundantly stored as maps+mods, and each time one of these poorly cared for sites goes down the forums are stuck with a bunch of dead links.

Could i just start uploading a bunch of LUA to this thread?

An svn branch (or second svn) on this server exclusively for lua widgets would work out nicely.

Anyone have a copy of the gui_defenseRange_MODDED.lua or know where to get it? A buddy of mine has a copy and said he grabbed it from a thread here but I can't find it for the life of me.
