Is it just me or has goatse lost its shock value? If I see goatse now its more of a dissapointed 'ew' than a 'omfg what the fuck is he doing'.

Why are people still posting goatse links? I'm sure there're much worse things out there that're easily linked too, if you want to scar peoples minds with horrific images do it properly!

I think most or atleast part of the reason for this is the massive youtube community. at one point filming a video of your facial expressions and reactions to seeing 2girls1cup the first time was quite popular/common/everyone was doing it

I am painfully aware of 4chan, though i thought the raving lunatics were at least partially contained in their box, only coming out for sorties against myspace, putting themselves in direct opposition to and being actively contemptuous of the majority of the internet, rather than being the internet, as they may claim.
