Spring RTS Engine

I have wanted one of these watches for awhile now.. and I have finally scraped together enough cash to splash..



I had the hots for the blue one for quite awhile and now that im about to get one of these bad boys, a new orange one has popped up on the radar..







whats the verdict ?

If you want a good watch, get one of those solar powered casio ones. I have had it for years and i have never changed the batteries, it recharges them with the solar cells embedded in the lcd display. also, when i look at a watch, i want to see the time, not a bunch of little stupid lights. If i saw someone wearing that my mind would be screaming "n00b gtfo".

Its pretty tho, so disregard everything i said.

I wouldn't get it even if it is pretty because it's not very practical, you would have to wait for the time to show up, and and there are prettier watches out there. It says it's water resistant, but I wonder how durable it would be, certainly not as durable as a diver's watch.

Most of these watches are stupid... The alternative style displays bloat the faces sizes up to massive proportions.

the only way that is ever going to look good is if you wear a unitard and some spaceboots.

Those are both weak, get a decent watch. Those fancy ones are usually way too big for your wrist anyway and they are of questionable sexuality.

I did like that p3 one.. but the idea of having pimp emblazoned on my wrist doesnt seem like a good idea..

If I see it right the leftmost column is the hours to +-12h accuracy and the other columns are the minutes? No thanks, I prefer a clock that can tell night from day (AKA 24h display) and shows seconds.

it does show the seconds afaik
also, eyes can be used for telling day from night

You know this reminds me, I've been looking for a really cool watch but it seems like there's only dumb ones and regular ones. I saw one at wal-mart a few months back I thought was really awesome but I went to try it on, and it looked like a brick strapped to my wrist. I'm not skinny either, my wrists and forearms are thicker than average I'd say.

I guess they're designed for the "fatass geek" demographic.

It would be a really good business to start, one that makes watches that are genuinely unusual and... what's the word for "not the same as every other bloody thing"?
