Im pretty disappointed about that 10k limit, it would be interesting to play games without metal extractors nor metal makers, but put the starting metal into something like 500k and see how it ends.
I dont see a reason why there is limit anyways. Limits sucks
If the problem is scaling the resource bars at lobby, it could show the max 10k in the adjustable resource bars, but you could also press that metal link (text under metal bar) and write your number, but ATM it turns over 10k metal into 10k by default.
Can we please have this (almost) non limited resources ?

I strongly suspect it's only a TASClient limitation. In Commanders script test mode, you have like 1M of both resources at the start, so engine definitely can handle such things.

like i said to trademark : it will happen but only for the next spring release to avoid crashes and desync from not updated lobbies

Only tasclient and its forks have this limitation. All the other bots autohosts and lobbies have no issue with 10k+ values as far as I am aware.

That doesn't mean satirik can count on every TASClient user updating their lobby...

Satirik, can you fix the max 10 bots bug too?
