Space Hulk

This is an awesome remake of the classic Space Hulk games that were originally released in 1993.

For you unwashed heathens, the game is set in the Warhammer 40k universe where you control a squad or two of elite Terminators who run around a huge space derelict blasting the shit out of aliens which infest it, more specifically, Tyranid Genestealers.

Its a turn based tactical game, and your marines gain experience and are awarded better gear as they level up.

So, in the name of the Emperor, go kill some 'Stealers!

Oh, and a word of advice. Keep your marines away from close combat or chances are you'll probably see a messy stain on the floor.

Damn...

Two problems mar this otherwise FUCKTASTIC game.

1: No full screen. Or at least I can't figure out how to get it on

2: I like the control scheme for the original space hulk game. That scared the crap out of me. You controlled your marines through four first person gun-cameras. Lost of time, the last thing you see is a genestealer in the gun sights, then static.

Nothing like losing your entire team: Screen after screen goes to static, and you're left with just a continual "ssssssssssss" static noise.

Uber cool.

The screen res issue is to be fixed in the next release, which is sometime next week. If your desktop res is 1280x960, you can increase the res by editing the "resolution.sh" file and setting the number there to 2 (using Notepad).

I'm fairly surprised that GW gave them the ol' C&D. So far as I know, nobody's been doing anything with Space Hulk, at all, for years. However, a Blood Bowl game is due this year, so... maybe...

The letter they got (which may or may not reflect reality, of course) indicating that they weren't planning a Space Hulk game in the near future, but that it was done for general protection of the IP.

I went to dl it last night... TOOOOOO SLOOOOOOWWW
