Not had much time lately tog et around to releasing this but its all there with a few additions. Windows installer and zip package too. I'll do a proper post with screenshots and a partial changelog as my changelogs get so large.

And please offer up any ideas on changing things, and be highly descriptive, the next version will be focused on re-engineering the GUI, so if I get enough suggestions it may be rebuilt from scratch in some places, so don't be afraid to suggest a totally different GUI or the weird and wonderful.

Looks good, except I have absolutely no idea where to point the paths to.

All games are... there, somewhere... easily accessible via applications-games.

Tried to run as well on linux and when I set the paths to what i think they should be I get a error on the unitsync.so path? What are the default paths for all the initial settings, as I installed defaultly on linux... ;)

Too lazy to go look, to b honest..

Could someone clarify nicely the default linux paths? I'm not sure what they are either.

For those who dont like aflobby because the battles arent always showing at the bottom, this is in aflobby and has been for a while, go into settings and change it to get the battles across the bottom.

Linux (Kubuntu 7.10), selcompiled Spring:
When i host a game are there options to: autobalance, ring players, change ally of a player, autofixcolurs, saving boxes for each map, autolock? If that features were implemented i prefer to use ur AFLobby but since that i ll stick with the springlobby (Springlobby crashes sometimes ur AFlobby doesn t :P). greets Emkay

Kewl got that, but still get an error right at start. Was able to get on-line today though. Can't join a game just yet (my host is PW), when I click on host i get to enter pW but nothing happens.

are the settings kept in the .spring dir? what file should I look for? Would really like to get something on this machine working, as playing on a laptop sux.

I will keep working on it..

:)

Ok what the hell does this mean?

path variable = /home/rp/Software/AFLobby library path = /usr/lib/jvm/ia32-java-6-sun-1.6.0.03/jre/lib/i386/server:
/usr/lib/jvm/ia32-java-6-sun-1.6.0.03/jre/lib/i386:
/usr/lib/jvm/ia32-java-6-sun-1.6.0.03/jre/../lib/i386:
/usr/java/packages/lib/i386:/lib:/usr/lib java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /usr/lib/spring/unitsync.so: /usr/lib/spring/unitsync.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64 (Possible cause: architecture word width mismatch)

AMD 64 bit Ubuntu 7.10

ok found the 64bit unitsync.so here /usr/lib64/spring/unitsync.so

changed in the settings.tdf file and still get the above error?

ahk please fix my thread.

And that ELFError bit means its something to-do with ELF and C++ at which point your no longer in java land and you've borked your spring compilation/installation somehow.

I assume your using a 64bit OS with a 64bit Java runtime and a 64bit spring with a 64bit Unitsync? And that no 32bit has managed to wriggle its way into there?
