Binding screen position

There's such feature in Starcraft: you press SHIFT+F2 (from F2 to F4) and this binds your current screen position. Then when you press F2 your screen is centred on that position.

I guess it's used in Warcraft 3 and some other RTS as well. It's very useful, helps a lot in micro and macro-management.

One can make great use of it, for example to switch very quickly between his base and fight area.

There is a LuaUI widget for saving and loading camera positions on UF. Not with keyboard commands though.

i remember some command like
/bind shift+f2 viewsave abcdef
/bind f2 viewload abcdef

but for some reason the person coding this though it would be funny if
scrolling there took more time than clicking on the minimap O_o
