Fang.
If it is possible can you mkae the older version of ee before the remodeling work with spring?
Just like it was no changes just so it works with this version.

Before the remodel.If that isnt possible than at least befoer the rescale but id prefer before the remodeling.

It might be because it's hard to get a zoom level where you can see what your units are shooting, but still SEE your units.

I think it'll get better with familiarity but I do a lot of squinting right now (only played URC so far, GD might be easier to distinguish).

This is not a whinge. I like EE.

Why do you want a version before the remodel, what is exactly wrong with the remodeled units. Please explain what your issue is, and honestly the answer is no..

Im not going to release a version of the mod I made with the crappy 3do models from the first iteration, first of those models werent really mine, and second off I dont care what you think they were bad, and compared to the new models they are bad. Im not doing this, Im also not going to rescale the mod, if you DONT like the current version then DONT play it. Dont ask me to rearrange the entire set up..

Dont get upset Fanger.
I think your currant mod at its state is brilliant but i *personnaly* prefer the older look.
I seriously doubt i will find many players to play with the older models but if i do itll make me happy.
I dont see why you should be insulted by me and maybe 1 or 2 more players playing your older version of the mod.
If you dont want to or dont have the time to make it playable with the new spring version i hope you will allow someone else to do it for you.

Peoples unit icon distances are suited for OTA sized units as a result EE units become unintelligable long before they become icons.

No amount of remodelling will fix this because the size of units is similar, and the colour is too. The units aren't close enough for simple additions of colour to make a difference, and because of the similar sizes there's no shape differentiation either. As a result I cant tell the difference between turrets and units until I'm close or reach the icons because of that in between where I should be seeing icons but instead I'm seeing coloured lumps. Of course we can change the slider and in the process mess up mods with bigger units.

I believe we will need a lua gadget that rescales the unit icon distance set in settings.exe to better suit EEs smaller units.

Thus I don't think directing the issue at fang is such a good move, instead we need a lua coder to submit a gadget that fixes the problem.

I didnt direct the issue of icons..It not a new issues and s44 has the same problem cause it conflicts with settings that suit ota mods.
I was directing to fang the desire for a working version of ee prior the remodeling.
Got nothng to do with icons at all.
Since fang doesnt want to do it i ask if someone does and what will be needed for that.

Thing is, does Fang give permission for people to make modifications to EE?
